Welcome to Head Start of Yamhill County's

Community Partnerships

It is recognized that within the larger community in which Head Start of Yamhill County resides, there are opportunities to develop new ideas which would be beneficial.

Consequently, representatives from the Head Start Coordinators attend and/or host other committees to creatively develop and deepen community relationships.

 Health Advisory Committee: Members of the community who are involved with children's health comprise membership. This is hosted by Head Start's Health and Nutrition Coordinator.

Early Childhood Committee: Members are those involved in the support and early intervention programs for young children exchange current trends and information. Head Start's Child and Community Coordinator attends this meeting.

Direct Service Providers: Members from the community attend to learn about work done in their communities with families in crisis, . This is hosted by Head Start's Family Services Coordinator.
