HSYC Gifts of Retirement &

Life Insurance Policies

Some companies have a matching gift program for people who volunteer. You can potentially double your volunteer hours or gifts by checking to see if your place of employment supports this.

If you have life insurance through your employer or if you have your own separate policy, you may name the Head Start of Yamhill County as beneficiary. You may also make the Foundation the beneficiary of an IRA, Keogh, 401 (k), 403 (b) or other qualified retirement plan. Your attorney or tax advisor can discuss with you how such gifts enable you to avoid substantial income and estate taxes.

Laws and regulations governing all gifts and availability of certain life insurance plans vary by state. Further, your financial and legal advisors can discuss any changes to the federal laws and regulations that may have occurred after the printing of this brochure to effect any  information referenced above.
