  In the past, Head Start was hosted by the Joyful Servant Lutheran Newberg church. Due to increased growth, it was necessary to transport the Newberg children to the brand new Head Start facility in Dayton.    
  The picture on the Home Page of this site shows the Ground Breaking ceremony, August 2007.  Everyone was so excited to be there as the planning for this began several years ago. It is an exciting journey and you have an opportunity to watch this newest Head Start of Yamhill County center as it takes shape over the next months.    
  If all goes well, this Spring all the Newberg children will be able to go to school in their own community!
